Misano - Round 2

The second round of the Sprint Cup of the Fanatic GT World Challenge Europe at Misano ended with GSM Racing still hanging 3 points in both race 1 and race 2. A weekend marked by the torrid heat which, as always, put all the drivers and teams to the test. The debut of the Spanish Fidel Castillo in the championship and with the team was positive. Castillo got off to a great start in race 2, recovering several positions in just a few laps and proving he can compete in this difficult championship.
“We're struggling to take the car further up the standings, but in terms of performance I'm happy because the team has worked very well” declared Andrea Grillini "I want to congratulate Fidel Castillo who, despite his young age and a somewhat blind debut, without knowing the team and the car performed well.".
Next round will be  on the first weekend of September in Hockenheim, Germany.
